White On & Disco Ball

So I wanted a new white polish because the one I have is Confetti and pretty nasty, so I went to Target to get a new one. And I also wanted a light-ish colored glitter to put over it because I saw a girl wearing it at the Harry Potter premiere and it looked so delicate and pretty and summery. So I found Sally Hansen Xtreme Wear White On and I put Sally Hansen Xtreme Wear Disco Ball over it. It's two coats of the white and only one coat of the glitter because that's how awesome it is.
I'm also discovering that putting a coat of gel-ous under my SV makes the manicure stay on so much better. I had this one on for three days before it chipped. I know that may not seem like a lot, but because I type so much and do so much random stuff, most of my manicures are lucky if they last one full day!

Salon Effects stickers

Okay, so I've been wanting to try these stickers for a super long time, but I didn't wanna pay for them lol. So when my mom came into town, we had a really good time at Wal-Mart, and she bought a set for each of us! They're so fun. The stickers are super easy to put on, and they actually lasted a long time. The only reason I took them off after four days is because the color started to fade a little, which I'm sure could have been avoided had I put some sort of top coat on.

Just for funsies, my mom bought the denim ones and I put them on for her. I'm not a huge fan of the pattern, but they look kinda cool, and my mom really liked them loll.

Yay both of us!

Shrimply Devine

Hope everyone had a lovely Fourth of July and didn't get too traumatized from fireworks!
Getting down to the bottom of my nail drawer! Except I realized the other day that's only for my own personal beginning (from when I moved), and I still have tons of things to share with the interweb!
Anywho, as I was saying, the bottom of my drawer means some ucky colors, so sorry in advance.
This is my Sally Hansen Complete Salon Manicure color, called Shrimply Devine. Poor pun as a name aside, this color is a little hideous, but I was obsessed with the Complete Salon Manicure line when it first came out. I thought it was the coolest thing ever. Color notwithstanding, the polish gets really matte after a few hours of just sitting on your nails, which is why it still looks relatively shiny here, I had just done it. So this is two coats of Sally Hansen Complete Salon Manicure in Shrimply Devine, without a base coat or top coat or anything because it's supposedly included in that magical little bottle.
Am I crazy or do you dislike the color as much as I do?

Jolly Holly, Hi-Def 04, and Call You Later

Okay, so I know this manicure is ridiculously St. Patrick's Day-y for summer, but I don't even care! I love green and I'm not going to apologize for throwing an absurd amount of it on my nails on a day that is not celebrated with drinking green beer (which would match my nails perfectly, by the way)!
Anywho, small rant aside, this is very probably my next St. Patrick's Day manicure (though I don't partake in the excessive drinking of green anything, I do enjoy dressing up for the occasion). The darker green on three of my fingers is China Glaze Jolly Holly and the lime green is Sally Hansen Hi-Def 04 (I actually wore the Sally Hansen color to my high school graduation, which made the the most daring person ever, apparently). I then put Sinful Colors Call You Later glitter over top of both of them because I was apparently experiencing some sort of green fever. I did two coats of Jolly Holly, four coats of the Sally Hansen because it's extremely opaque, and then a generous helping of glitter because I'm in looove with it. I covered all of that with a coat (from a brand new bottle!) of SV.
(And I'd like to apologize for the large number of parentheticals in this post. Heheee)

Looooove, right???
